It is a shame that this sim is gone. A tribute to Jules Verne and the books he wrote and the worlds he has created. I guess both science fiction and steampunk owe him a lot so I have been more then happy to see this wonderful tribute build for him.
Sadly the sim is gone now as the builder was unable to keep it all up and the LLs have not yet made a public museum program that could possibly take over such builds and made them into permanent locations where people can see how great a virtual world can look. So with it all gone I decided to post a few pictures so at least those stay and can be seen:

Yes ... LL would need to provide the sim and there would have be some guidelines in place for when a sim could become a part of the museum. It would be easier on OSgrid as there it does not cost that much to keep the build up. But then, the access there is not as easy and widespread yet then in SL and especially the scripts can't be moved there easily. So the rebuilding would need some time.

That's actually a great idea: some kind of sim-archive for great "gone" sims.... Too bad LL will never implement this, and it is very difficult for non-ll people to do it - with the current metaverse state of openness...
