Some new functionality on the website:
- registered users now have the possibility to upload images and display them in posts. Please be "tidy" when uploading images, and put them in the correct album.
There are 2 ways to do so:- go to pics-->add picture
This way you can upload multiple images at once to a certain album. You can create albums via Pics-->add album. Use Advanced-->parents to create an album under an existing one - start a new post, and click the photocamera icon. This allows you to either insert an already uploaded image into your post, or to upload a new one. See the previous item for info about how to create extra albums
- go to pics-->add picture
- We now have integration with twitter: moderators and administrators can now select posts to auto-appear on twitter. Our tweets are also visible on the main page, as well as here.
It is also possible to add your own twitter feed to your account here, by going to my account-->edit-->Twitter Accounts. Users can then view your tweets when they view your profile.
There is more goodness to come in the future:
- Integration with flickr: the images posted to this site will auto-appear on our flickr account
- Some more detailed explanation about how to use all the functionality
- a page detailing who is responsible for what on this site, so you know who to contact with questions/suggestions. Of course, you can also leave a message in our forum for that!
- events listings: see planned events on the sldm site

Supa Dupa! great stuff, am playing around with BuddyPress at the moment, Wordpress moving beyond blogging, although Drupal still has the edge imo!

imho, drupal may be a bit more difficult to setup and require a bit more effort to finetune and get all desired functionality in, but in the end I think it's versatility makes up for that... Also comes with a great and openspirited developper community...
Must admit though that I haven't tried that many systems besides Drupal...but why change a winning team ay ;-)

That's a lot of goodness indeed :) Looks great Triss, thanks a lot.
