I think I should have writen about this before, but I have not thought much about the survey the LLs have send out some time ago. I got it too and answered it in a very negative way as the propsed changes and fees presented there have been simply plain silly.
But now, not only the SLX are still being a topic of discussion, but I have also discovered this entry that was writen to answer some questions about the surves. And yes, the fees listed in the survey have not been in L$ but in US $. This is not a mistake.

And finally, Pink Linden also commented on this and has made a few things more clear then they appeared in the survey. However this either mean, that the questions have been not correclty worded or that the LLs have quickly canged their plans as they have seen the negative impact of the survey. They would never admit neither of those possibilites given their record in transparency.

As much as it might have been futile in the past. I think now it is time to attend as many office hours as possible. Even if it is just to listen and shake our heads. And if soemone is kicked from the sim for asking difficult questions, then this just proovs the point of how bad the LLs have made themselves in the eyes of their customers.

According to the office hour website ( http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Office_hours ) the next commerce team office hour will be on tuesday December 15th. The times are 10am PT, 4pm PT and 8pm PT at the Xstreet SL Garden Park
I might have a look at the location upfront, but no matter what, it will be essential, that anyone wanting to attend should be there early. I suspect, that many people will want to be there and to be honest, I think it will all go down in screaming, shouting and linden bashing. Not that they would not deserve it, but it is hard to get any good information about their plans this way.
